1. What Dira is
Dira is a beta AI research assistant for Kenyan law. It returns answers grounded in citations to statutes and case law. It is not a substitute for qualified legal advice and is not a licensed law firm.
2. Beta program
The service is offered in a private beta. Access is granted at our discretion. We may suspend, change, or end the beta at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Dira to:
- attempt to discover other users' data,
- automate large-scale scraping or load testing without our written permission,
- generate content that violates Kenyan law,
- impersonate another person when requesting access.
4. Intellectual property
You retain rights to your queries. We retain rights to the service. Statutes and case law remain in the public domain.
5. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". We make no warranty that answers are complete, current, or fit for any particular legal matter. You are responsible for verifying every citation before relying on it.
6. Governing law
Republic of Kenya. Disputes are resolved in Nairobi courts.
